FAQs

Do you take Insurance?

Dallas Pelvic Health is a cash pay provider and is considered out of network with insurance. This practice model allows us the freedom to use our expertise to serve you in the way we believe to be most effective in facilitating healing. However, we do offer a detailed receipt upon request for you to submit to your insurance for full/partial reimbursement or application towards your deductible. For payment, we accept HSA/FSA cards, and debit/credit.

Do I need a referral to see you?

Yes, but physical therapists can evaluate without a referral and then treat for 10 business days after the evaluation. So, you will need a referral eventually but not right away, so don’t let this delay your pelvic healing!

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

At this time, no returns or exchanges.

Can I still attend therapy while menstruating?

Pelvic PT is absolutely appropriate during your monthly bleed. In fact, there may be more information that comes to the surface during your monthly bleed that will be helpful info for your plan of care. However, most importantly is your comfort level, and we are happy to provide an external only appointment if preferred. Menstruation, however is not considered a valid reason to cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance and the cancellation/reschedule policy fees will apply.

Who can give me a referral?

Ideally, this referral comes from the birth provider that saw you most recently like your OB or CNM. However, referrals can also come from chiropractors, general practice doctors, PAs or NPs.
